Project Description
Mojave Modern
Henderson, Nevada
2011
Designed as a contemporary desert residence in Henderson, this 3,400-square-foot single-family home is defined by strong geometric massing, layered materials, and a clear relationship between architecture and site. The composition brings together clean stucco volumes, dark metal cladding, warm accent elements, expansive glazing, and open interior spaces to create a home that feels bold, refined, and closely connected to the surrounding landscape.
It was designed as a modern desert home that balances sculptural form with livable openness. Through its layered facade, restrained material palette, generous glazing, and contemporary interior volumes, the project creates a strong architectural presence while maintaining a seamless connection to light, views, and the character of the Henderson landscape.
