I believe architecture is at its most meaningful when it becomes the art of living, an authentic expression of a particular lifestyle created for a particular person and grounded in a particular place.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
For three decades, my work has moved between two worlds: the memory-rich landscapes of the Middle East and the open, evolving architectural terrain of the United States. Between these places, I have learned that design is not a fixed language, but a living dialogue between culture, climate, craft, and time.
My portfolio reflects a broad range of architectural experiences, including hillside homes, desert residences, urban interiors, hospitality spaces, retail environments, conceptual studies, and expressive architectural visions. Some projects are quiet and restrained, while others are bold, sculptural, and experimental. Some carry the warmth of tradition through wood, brick, texture, and memory. Others explore clean lines, glass, natural light, minimal massing, and the discipline of contemporary form.
At the center of this range is modernism. Not modernism as a style alone, but as a way of thinking. It is a belief in clarity, a respect for function, a search for timeless proportion, and a desire to remove what is unnecessary while strengthening what is essential. My work often moves between softness and precision, organic movement and rational order, cultural memory and contemporary life.
The projects in this portfolio are not intended to look the same. They are meant to demonstrate range, growth, and adaptability. They represent years of listening to clients, studying places, solving practical problems, respecting construction realities, and shaping spaces that belong to their time while carrying something enduring.
From the Middle East to the United States, and from intimate interiors to expressive architectural forms, my work continues to ask the same question:
“How can architecture honor the past, serve the present, and remain ready for the future?”
That question is the foundation of my practice.
That is where my modernism begins.
PRACTICE AND PROCESS
My work combines contemporary design thinking with respect for proportion, function, craftsmanship, and timeless architectural discipline. Through my practice, I guide projects from early concept and design development through visualization, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration, maintaining clarity and consistency throughout the process.
Each project begins with careful listening and a clear understanding of the client, site, program, budget, and construction requirements. The goal is not simply to create a strong visual concept, but to carry that concept through every phase of the project and translate it into a practical, coordinated, and buildable design.
Whether the project is a private residence, multifamily development, hospitality environment, retail space, or interior remodel, the same principles guide the work: thoughtful planning, clear communication, disciplined documentation, and careful attention to the details that shape how a space will look, function, and endure.
